2024 Questions:
QB:
-Will I actually have a starting QB? I've gotta think Fields will start at some point but what week?? My guess is week 6/7 depending on the Steelers record.
RB:
-Can Kyren repeat last years success? Especially with Corum in LA now. I don't think Corum gets as many carries as some think he will and I don't think he will do the most with those carries. But I'm also biased since I have Kyren
-Will Kendre Miller keep his momentum from the last 2 weeks of the 2023 season going? Especially with Kamara having contract issues and leaving Training Camp. I think he will be the #2 RB on the Saints to start the season.
-Will Justice Hill get any carries behind Henry haha. I think he will be the passing down back. At least until Keaton comes back from injury.
-Ray Davis. #2 RB in BUF? or 1B ? I hope the latter but you never know with BUF.
WR:
-Can Chris Olave build off his first 2 seasons of success? Especially now with him being the #1 option in New Orleans.
-Can Samuel build a connection with Josh Allen and be a gadget player for Joe Brady's offense like when they were in CAR together? I hope so as I need hi to haha.
-Will the new rookie WR from TBB stand in Trey Palmer's way? Maybe but we will see! Palmer already has a connection with Mayfield so hopefully he keeps his starting slot position.
-Andrei Iosivas, new #3 in Cincinnati? Or JAG in the pecking order behind Higgins & Chase. I think with Higgins and his contract he might get a chance! Or at least some Red Zone targets.
TE:
-Can I finally have a TE go over 700 yards since I had Hooper in 2019? Can that be my man Chiggy Okonkwo!! With Will Levis and the brand new offense I think he could be it, but there is some hype around Whyle in camp. Should be a good battle.
-Tommy Tremble. Nuff said haha. Can he hold off the rookie Sanders? I doubt he does but you never know! I don't have much confidence in Bryce Young but he wasn't exactly given the greatest to work with last season.
-Will MFL keep Taysom Hill as a QB? Or make it back into the TE bracket.
K:
-Nick Folk. Can he be the hero Kicker I need?
-Chad Ryland. Let's hope with another year under his belt and a new staff he builds some confidence in his leg like he had in college.
Will he get back to his 2022 Lou Groza award watchlist form? Or will he be the worst Kicker in the league for a 2nd year in a row.
DT:
-Can Shy Tuttle make some waves with Clowney, Brown and Robinson with him on the line?
DT has always been a weak spot on my team so hoping Tuttle or Bobby Brown step it up this year.
DE:
-Jonathan Cooper is back in the fold and looking to build on last years success! Scoring almost 100 more points in 2023 than 2022, can he maintain his form.
-With joining the 49ers defense, can Leonard Floyd be more consistent? He had a few big games last year with Buffalo. Looking forward to seeing how he does this year.
-Harold Landry is more than a year fully removed from his ACL injury. After week 5 last year he scored at least 7.8 points in each game except 3 of them. Topping out at 23pts in week 14. With Dennard Wilson in the house as our DC now I expect this Landry to do some things!
-The other Jonathan(Greenard) on my team but not any less important! Signing a big contract with the Vikings this offseason, will he be DE, LB or Hybrid? Hoping my DE Room can continue being a strength on my team.
LB:
-Lavonte David. The moneymaker, big cheese, best IDP of my defense since I joined the league in 2017. Hoping he continues that trend and plays out his contract. He will be a HOF member for sure!
-Troy Anderson was making plays all over the field! Until he went on season ending IR in week 2 haha. But he should return to the starting lineup and give me another consistent LB on my team.
-Can Dr. Gibby hold off rookie 4th rounder Cedric Gray for the starting position? Training camp reports say he has so far and he's looking to build upon his previous season in year #3.
-David Long kinda faded down the stretch but he still led the Dolphins in tackles last year so hoping he keeps it up! Especially with tackling machine Jordyn Brooks as his cohort now.
-Junior Colson. My rookie 1st rounder. Last time I took a LB 17th overall it was Rashaan Evans which was a mixed bag. But reuniting with his college coaches in Harbaugh and Minter plus being on a team with weak LBs, I expect him to be a starting LB week 1! Hoping he can be my next Lavonte David but that's some big ass shoes to fill haha.
CB:
-Another strength of my team with Molden (31st), Sneed (13th) & Stevenson (3rd) all in the top 40 CB's last year for points scored.
-Jack Jones could be another good piece for my team. He did well to end the year last year and should be one of the starting CB's for the Raiders. To start the season at least.
-What can I say about Coby Bryant. Was starting until an injury forced him to miss multiple weeks and was just a low depth piece upon his return. Don't see him getting much snaps unless there is injuries.
S:
-Byard back for year 6 with the team! On a Bears team as the veteran leader, hopefully he regains his form from 2022 and turns in an All-Pro type year!
-Sydney Brown would've been a starter had Gardner-Johnson not resigned with the Eagles. Should give some good points still and hopefully step into a starter role eventually. But with Cooper DeJean playing a possible Hybrid role for the backfield I don't know how many snaps I can expect from Brown.
-And finally Jevon Holland. Missed some games due to injuries last year but should be healthy and ready to go! Looking forward to having him for hopefully a full season.
