Roster Limits:
Maximum roster size is 40 active players. Minimum roster size is 19 active players. A team must roster a minimum amount of active players at each position:
IR:
Additionally, a team may place up to 40 players on the injured reserve (IR) list from the active roster. In order for a player to be eligible for the IR, he must officially be on the NFL's IR or non-football injury (NFI) list. Once a player is removed from the NFL's IR or NFI list, he must immediately be activated or waived. In Blitz, IR opens at the start of the NFL preseason. However, roster size is not enforced until the day before the first game of the NFL season.
Team Management:
Teams are expected to operate under the assumption of good faith. That is, rosters are managed and lineups are set with the intention of winning. Although some teams may be better than others, starting players who are injured, retired, or clearly inferior to other players on the roster will not be tolerated. Teams are expected to start a complete lineup each and every week.

- 1 additional FLEX player (RB, WR, or TE)
