AFC
East:
1. New England Patriots - x
2. New York Jets - y
3. Buffalo Bills
4. Miami Dolphins
A very competitive division. There's too much in New England to keep them from first place. New York and Buffalo's head-to-head matchups may very well determine who gets a Wild Card spot. Miami is sneaky but probably a year away.
North:
1. Baltimore Ravens - x
2. Cleveland Browns - y
3. Cincinnati Bengals - y
4. Pittsburgh Steelers
The best division in football. Baltimore has the most complete roster. If Pittsburgh can fill out the roster, this may change. Daniel Jones may determine Cleveland's fate, although a playoff birth still feels likely. Cincinnati needs a rookie running back to step up.
South:
1. Indianapolis Colts - x
2. Jacksonville Jaguars
3. Tennessee Titans
4. Houston Texans
Not a particularly strong division. Each team has flaws but Indianapolis is probably the most complete. Tennessee with a starting quarterback could be a threat, as could Jacksonville if everything clicks. Houston is a year away.
West:
1. Los Angeles Chargers - x
2. Denver Broncos
3. Kansas City Chiefs
4. Las Vegas Raiders
Similar to the AFC South. Los Angeles appears to be most complete. Denver lacks running backs, Kansas City lacks receivers. Raiders are probably a year or two away.
NFC
East:
1. New York Giants - x
2. Washington Commanders - y
3. Philadelphia Eagles - y
4. Dallas Cowboys
New York is looking to repeat and makes a strong case out the gate. Washington and Philadelphia both have strong rosters, particularly on offense. Dallas will need a year or two.
North:
1. Detroit Lions - x
2. Minnesota Vikings
3. Green Bay Packers
4. Chicago Bears
Detroit is the only complete roster in this division. Minnesota will need to fill some holes to truly compete. Green Bay is a year (and a GM) away. Chicago's defense may drag it along, but the offense needs too much.
South:
1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - x
2. Atlanta Falcons
3. New Orleans Saints
4. Carolina Panthers
Similar to the NFC East. Tampa Bay is the clear-cut favorite. Atlanta has holes to fill while New Orleans and Carolina will need a year or two (and a GM or two) to get back in the hunt.
West:
1. Arizona Cardinals - x
2. Seattle Seahawks - y
3. Los Angeles Rams
4. San Francisco 49ers
Another highly competitive division. Arizona is the most complete roster. Seattle has enough to earn a Wild Card spot. The Rams with a running back could be interesting. San Francisco could be sneaky albeit still probably a year away.
