Disclaimer. Nate needs to pay Smith for me to have him. Other than that, we upgraded the 2nd WR and added a young starting CB. Nate ends up getting more PPG this year and obviously next year. He wants depth, I already have it and I want Adams and a LB for the remainder of the year.

I accept, I can only franchise Smith once more as I need my franchise tag for another of my good LBs, Adams is good but hes not better than two young wrs. I also like Banks, this give me depth something that I need given the nature of who I am losing after this year.

This is certainly a better offer than the previous one, but it's still a steal. The Bengals will still get a end up with a end of 1st Round compensation pick for Smith, if he doesn't franchise him. Smith & Adams are still the best players in this deal. In my opinion, the Bengals either have to pay a substantial amount for him or give up reasonably like players. Like I said before, I don't veto often, but this is not a trade of current value for future value, but a trade of someone who knows the rules with someone who doesn't. Veto.
