2015 Pick 2.02 (Atlanta Falcons 2nd Round Pick)
Seattle trades:
LB Paul Posluszny 15/$7.45 & 16/$7.45
2015 Pick 1.22 (New York Giants 1st Round Pick)
$4.45M in 2015 & $4.45M in 2016 on Posluszny’s contract
I am giving up a 2015 Top 10 draft pick for a top LB, Posluszny, to replace Houston who I lost to free agency. I am moving up in the draft from 2.02 to 1.22. Plus, I’m getting $4.45M in much needed cap space relief in both 2015 &2016. I hate to give up the top draft pick, but this one is worth it to replace the top LB and reduce the cap space.
