Cap be able to be traded for two years in the future? FAILED

As the rule stands right now, we are only able to trade cap for the current season and the year beyond. This rule change proposes that we will be able to trade cap for the current season and two years beyond the current season.

It won't effect you directly, but it could (will) change free agency and trading values.

I say no. There is enough mortgaging of futures already with the current pick/cap trading rules.

Agreed. Taking over a franchise, you likely have little to no picks for the next two seasons. All people need is also no money to work with. Makes it tougher to replace owners...

Cap trading is basically an excuse to overspend for some.

We will, and have, excuse all cap penalties for new owners and draft picks are draftable to them.

What does "draft picks are draftable to them" mean? Excusing cap penalties is a good move.

All the draft picks owned by previous team owners were put into the pool for the New GMs to draft.

If you take a look at the New GM spreadsheet you can see where all of the draft picks were redistributed to.

Yeah, I followed the draft. I meant moving forward as teams with no picks are inevitably going to quit the league. I presumed we wouldn't do a draft like this annually, but maybe.
