Dez's production is slowing down and with his $14.6M salary until 2021 I didn't want to hold onto him any longer. While the return is light I add some controllable players, picks and free up cap space to use in FA to help my rebuild.

I'm going to go ahead and Veto this right now. It is of my mind that the Cowboys cannot and should not be allowed to gain what I feel is an unfair advantage in these coming playoffs by trading away people that aren't even on his active roster. Just because you are trading away a bunch of trash does not make it a fair deal. Nothing combined is worth Dez, aging or not, salary dump or not. A second next year and a 4th in 2019 and a bunch of player that combined don't even make in a season what Dez makes in three weeks is just trash. Add one of those injured wr's you have, make a more even deal or my vote will always be veto.

Approve (1-1) While this doesn't seem like a lot for Dez Bryant, Dez isn't really a Top 10 WR anymore. This is actually a pretty decent return for the Panthers given Dez's $14.6M for four years contract.

Vanderdoes is a young starting DT for the Raiders. While he hasn't put up a lot of points this year, the Raiders defense is young an getting better. He should be a very serviceable DT for years to come. Cody Davis was the starting strong safety for the LA Rams prior to getting hurt in Week 6 and sent to IR. He should regain his starting job on one of the best defenses in the league next year. Jesse James is a third year TE who splits time in the Pittsburgh offense with Vance McDonald. He will eventually win that battle in my opinion. While the 2018 2nd and the 2019 4th are both likely to be late round picks, they give the Panthers the opportunity to fill in team needs with young prospects.

Approve (2-1). While I don't like seeing cowboys getting stronger, I don't think this deal is bad enough to veto. While I think it's a good price for Dez for Cowboys since they have the cap to spare, Fans been trying to offload Dez or Jeffrey contracts since taking over the panthers and this will leave him with ~40m to start building a team in FA and the draft. The younger players and picks should help this too.

As long as Dak is QB, this is what Dez is, a very low end WR1 averaging 10 ppg. Like Greg said, Panthers are getting some intriguing young players that come next year could be very relevant. I don't see anything wrong with the compensation for Dez. Approve (4-1)
