Playoff Transactions Freeze

I would like to freeze all* transactions once we hit the playoffs. We do this with trades, but even things like cuts or waiver claims need to have a hard deadline in my opinion. I made a separate thread to discuss a change to free agency in the playoffs, but in short, that would be my one exception. I do believe that teams should still be able to sign players.

Similar to my view on free agency in the playoffs, I feel that the league should keep transactions during the playoffs the way they are as well. If someone needs to be cut in order to add a free agent, I am not sure why the waiver system wouldn’t still be in affect, affording the teams at the bottom of the waiver wire the opportunity to pick up a dropped player just like they do in the regular season. If free agency is allowed, I feel as though cuts go hand in hand to manage roster limits with the add. I don’t see the ability to add a player during the playoffs, but not be able to cut a player as a viable option.
